Prof. Nasri Presents a Paper at the Architectural Heritage Conference in Seville, Spain

Prof. Mohamad Nasri, Dean of the Faculty of Architecture and Design, represented City University in the STREMAH 2019 conference (16th International Conference on Studies, Repairs and Maintenance of Heritage Architecture) that was held during October 7-9, 2019 in Seville, Spain.

Prof. Nasri presented a paper, co-authored by his graduating architecture student Ms. Aline Mansour, and entitled: REVIVING CRAFTSMANSHIP AND CRAFTS WITHIN THE CONTEXT OF INDUSTRIAL ARCHITECTURAL HERITAGE. The paper, which is accepted for publication, illustrates an attempt at reviving of some of Tripoli’s endangered crafts through the portrayal of a design intervention that aims at restoring an urban gap which is rich in industrial architectural heritage around the old railway station of Tripoli.
